I have in my possession what is quite possibly the awesomest thing to ever be published.
Care to guess what it is?
Well, to a nerdy Christian like me, this is awesome. Sorry to those who might be reading who aren't Christian (or Jewish).
Ready? Alright.
I have a manga version of the BIBLE! DUDE! HOLY CRAP! This thing is friggin' awesome!
It puts me in a good state of mind.

Apology
Once again few but miraculously faithful and other occasional readers, it's been a long time since I've last made a new post.
Crap.
To express sadness over not posting, I will now proceed to type a crap-ton of random and useless jibberish. Observe.
lksajl;kfjlk;sjhfoivu nlkj lh lkvjsalkdfuo9eut5p8q3905i#$^%@#$&^#$%$#%*U&#Qiotusaldgfjvlkj Mother &*U&()OIU&-ing JRIHASLJKNEFV J rapists are disgusting jlkasfiosjkl mjlksj lmjsldjf i like cheesecake lkjsalknu lkjFAS BLARGLE ljslkjf jnlkjs jrjjl;sjal; jljflj I'M A WHITE PERSON OMG jlkajisjlkj@132453246$@#HTFSAKjmv lksajtfr EWT%#@Wbt lae hgl bejrga.
There.
I apologize for not posting for so long, but that's not the apology that this post is about.
I want to apologize for my post from a long time ago titled "Beowulf: Die-Hard Moderate." I feel like I crossed way over the line with how I should address the issue, and ended up proving myself to be a hypocrite by doing the very thing that I was criticizing a couple of groups for doing, in that I was figuratively breathing fire at both of them for breathing fire at each other and others.
I meant every word of what I said, but I still could have put it in far better and less angry terms. I had become so frustrated with those groups and hadn't said anything for so long that I eventually cracked mentally and had to let off steam and get the issue off of my chest. I know that many of you who are reading this probably aren't Christians, but in saying those things in such an angry and inappropriate manner I failed to fufill my duty as a Christian to show God's love to everybody no matter what they say or do to me or anybody else. I hope that anybody who was hurt of offended by what I said can forgive me.
There, I apologized. That had been weighing down on my conscience for a while. I hope this whole thing resolves well.

The Brink
Nice dramatic sounding title isn't it? If you read Seraph's blog then you know that we've had a falling through in our relationship. That was a bit of a nerve wracking experience, and I felt like a huge asshole for it. Things were good again for about a week or so, but then we had another falling through. The basic gist of what happened is that we pretty much told each other that we didn't want to break up with each other but that we were wanting to be able to flirt with other people. We considered taking a break for a while, but neither of us really liked that idea, so we decided to work through it. That's that experience in a nutshell. It was also, like its predecessor, extremely nerve-wracking as hell, and I never want to experience it again.
So the primaries are going on all around the country. I thought about voting but I STILL haven't looked up the policies for each of the candidates. If you're reading this, could you give me an overview of what each major candidate's (Democrat and Republican; I'm unaffiliated) policies and such are? That would be awesome.

I'm Bored
I'm bored so I think I'll make another post.
I still need to look up stuff on the Presidential Candidates. That way I can vote. I need to let Seraph use the computer now.
That is all.

Interesting Goings On
Hello people on the wonderful interwebs.
I haven't wished anybody a happy new year yet, so here goes. Happy Belated New Year. There. Let's see, Valentine's Day is also tomorrow. Whoohoo. I actually don't mind it now that I actually have a girlfriend.
Let's see, what's been happening lately? Oh yeah, Heath Ledger died. It's old news now, but I figured that I'd write a post mentioning it anyway. It's weird how things like that happen. But hey, it at least serves as a reminder to not do whatever it was he accidentally killed himself by doing.
What is a bit annoying is that Fred Phelps protested at his funeral because he "supported homosexuality" in role in the movie "Brokeback Mountain." Now granted, "Brokeback Mountain" isn't exactly my type of movie, but it's still over the top to go protest at his funeral just because at some point in his acting career he played the part of a gay cowboy. I just thought I'd talk about that briefly.
Hope everybody has a good Valentine's Day.

I Haven't Posted in a While
Hello everyone. It's been a while since I have last posted. I figured I'd just make a post. 2 Girls 1 Cup is disgusting. I've never actually seen it, but I've heard about it, and it seems really nasty.

Beowulf: Die-Hard Moderate
I realize that, having not posted in forever, that I haven't wished everyone a Happy New Year. So here goes. Happy New Year! There, I did it. Let's see, I'd like to make a big post about something.
The problem is, I don't know what to post about.
Blarg.
Well, let's see...
I need to look up the views of the main people that are running for president to see which ones I like and don't like. Though judging by the commercials sponsored by some of them, so far I'm not impressed. That one guy, whose name I haven't taken the time to remember because of the fact that he pretty much, well he kind of scares me. Using the facts that you're a Christian and that you're a conservative for your campaign don't strike me as good reasons to be elected for office. Now me, being a Christian, don't mind having a fellow Christian elected to that office, but basing your campaign off of that, and then also flaunting that fact that you're conservative, already makes me not like you. Those who do that are usually the people that are the fuckin' crazy conservative people. We've seen how those kinds of governments do in running the country.
However, the other end of the spectrum scares me just as much. In my experience neither extreme is a good idea in running a country due to narrow-minded ideas and an unwillingness to compromise. I swear that every time I hear about or have to deal with some pig-shitted asshole who's either hyper-liberal or hyper-conservative who covers their ears and damns somebody to hell every time they hear a different opinion and/or are proven wrong, I want to strangle the said asshole and then set their dead body on fire while throwing them off of a very high cliff.
*Lets out an exasperated sigh*
I mean seriously. To you hyper-conservatives Christian people out there who think that homosexuality is the influence of satan, you may think it's wrong and disgusting and sinful, but if you'd get that the Southern Baptist Convention's (or whatever other denominational organization's) dick out of your ass, you'd remember that our job as Christians is to show God's love to others, not to condemn them. We have no right to judge others since we're sinners just as much (and sometimes more) than many of the homosexuals that you will meet. If you don't believe me that we're not supposed to judge others, look it up (Matthew 7:1, Luke 6:37, 1 Corinthians 6:1-7, and my favorite - James 4:11; I could go on).
And for you hyper-liberals out there, if you would stop smoking weed for a second then you'd realize that you're no better than us omnivores are because of the fact that some poor plants had to give up their lives and/or the product of their hard-work just to satisfy your endeavor to maintain your hippie image and get stoned, which means yes, despite your efforts to be different and rebellious against society, you still fall into the mainstream.
*Lets out another exasperated sigh*
Okay, I feel better.
I just get frustrated with stupid people.
Like I said before, I get frustrated by both extremes. You can be a liberal or conservative, but when you're EXTREME and get militant about it(and that can apply to peaceful demonstrations too), then we're gonna have a problem. Since I'm not fond of either extreme, I guess that makes me a moderate. Seraph (who is in the room at the moment) has called me a die-hard moderate. I think it's kinda cool and funny sounding, so I think I'll adopt that title.
Now some of you probably think I'm being hypocritical, but I promise you I'm not, or at least trying not to be. I don't like getting all mad and angry like this, but this is what us moderates think to ourselves when we quietly deal with everyone else's shit. As much as it sounds like I'm trying to prove that I'm better than the hyper-liberal/conservatives, I'm just trying to level the playing field in that nobody is better than anybody else and it will make everybody happier if one side isn't constantly trying to prove the contrary. And I'm not saying that moderates are without fault. I've met many moderates who seem to be that way simply because they are lukewarm in the sense that they claim to lead a particular lifestyle and speak out against other lifestyles when they themselves are guilty of leading those lifestyles. They don't seem to really believe what they're saying and thus don't seem to really stand by anything, which can be annoying. Granted, there are times in which one needs to stop being so uptight and go with the flow, but to never seem to have a stand on anything gets to me.
Sorry, I'm rambling again. These are just some of the frustrations I deal with everyday as a preacher's son and a Christian.
Hope everybody's having an awesome new year. God bless.

Something I Hate
Every person who has a blog probably has one or more of these on their blogs in some form or another, so I figure I'll join the crowd.
I try to be a fair man, and I try to be patient (though Seraph can tell you that I often fail). But damn do I hate it when people talk shit about other people behind their backs! HATE IT! I swear why in the hell to people feel the need to piss and moan about each other to other people? Or now they'll say shit about them on Facebook. Fucking FACEBOOK! DAMN!
For instance, about a month and a half ago Seraph and I went to a Halloween party with a group on campus. I was in a grim reaper costume that I had for years and used when I had nothing else. Seraph was a dead whore. It was quite a well done costume. She had the whole runny makeup and bruises thing going. It was pretty cool.
I got to the party late since I was on my way back from some family affairs. So Seraph decided to play the part of her costume (not literally). Just so you all know, Seraph is a flirt. She doesn't flirt with other people very often, and when she does she has assured me that it's only playful and doesn't have any feelings or intentions behind it. That being said, she started hanging on some of the guys there for the purpose of making them uncomfortable. The first couple of guys were unfazed, so she moved to one guy who did get uncomfortable, and hung around him on and off for a while. Our esteemed colleague whom Seraph has name Rapunzel, decided to take it upon herself to take pictures of Seraph doing this and then post them on Facebook, where she left...less than flattering comments on them (i.e. "I thought [Seraph] was dating [Beowulf]."). That comment wasn't all that bad, but what was bad was that she also took a picture of me and Seraph together and left a really accusing remark on it ("When [Beowulf] shows up she is no longer smiling and all over everyone else...strange?").
What the fucking hell?
Why the hell--just...just why??? Do people get a chubby when they say bad things about others behind their back?? Are people really that fucking low that they even feel the need to PUBLICLY CALL SOMEBODY A WHORE ON FACEBOOK?!?!?!?!?!
AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHH
HHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DAMMIT!
Sorry. I had a lot of people talking shit about me behind my back when I was in the 8th grade after I moved to a new place; people making up shit about me just because I was new. And it pisses me off to no end when people talk shit about others behind their backs.
So, if you're reading this, do me a personal favor. If you have a problem with somebody, unless it jeopardizes your safety or your job or something, please grow a pair of nuts (or breasts if you're a woman) and talk to confront that person yourself about whatever your problem is with them. If you can't do that, then just keep your pie-hole shut. Please? You will have my everlasting respect if you do that.
There, I said it. Something I hate. I just felt like I needed to get that off of my chest.

Streakers and the Heroes of Spontaneity
There's been some random goings on during the past few days.
In the week before Thanksgiving on Wednesday night/Thursday morning I drove Seraph to her dorm like as I usually do every night. As we went inside of the building we recognized the NA (Night Assistant) who was a friend of ours, who will go by the name Half-Pint, and stopped to talk to her. It wasn't long when two girls came in and flashed their ID's (you have to show your student ID to get into dorms after a certain time at night), and said to Half-Pint in a joking but nonetheless annoying manner, "You suck!" and walked on by.
After a little while Seraph and I went up to her room. We were standing outside her door going through the "good night, sweet dreams" routine when we heard running and giggling/yelling up and down the hallway on the floor above us.
"Oh god," Seraph said irritably, "it's probably those girls."
"Probably." I said.
After a short exchange we decided that after we said goodnight that I would go up there and tell the girls to shut up. We seemed satisfied with the plan, and almost eager for me to go and put the girls in their place. Things became seemingly convenient when we heard the noise come down to the floor we were on and start to head our way, and we thought to ourselves that we were going to have our chance to shut them up without having to exert the effort of moving.
Until the girls came into the hallway.
They both came through the door to the hallway completely topless and wearing nothing but a pair of panties that to somebody giving them a brief glance made them look butt-ass naked. They stopped dead in their tracks when they saw me and their expressions changed to what would be equal to the look of a 13 yea old boy caught masturbating by his parents. They promptly covered their chests (which I didn't see because I was in the midst of doing a double take), and ran out the door still giggling.
What the crap.
Needless to say Seraph and I were both a bit bewildered. So we kissed and said goodnight. I had a short debate with myself as to which way to go (I preferred not to run into the streakers again). I decided to go the way I came which to my great relief lead me to find a nude-free elevator area occupied by a guy and a girl who were talking about the same incident.
"You saw them to huh?" I said to them casually.
They both nodded with looks on their faces that would have suggested such. I proceeded to tell them my part of the story. They responded by shaking their heads disapprovingly. They told me that their encounter occured when the girls came out of the elevator.

"We're trying to get to the 4th floor!" the girls blabbered foolishly as the elevator doors opened. Keep in mind that this was the 6th floor. The girls went on to the hall in which they encountered me and Seraph, leaving the other people bewildered.
After some discussion that ended in agreement that the girls had obviously fallen off of the sobriety rocker and were inappropriate in what they did. I went back to the lobby to tell Half-Pint about what happened. She was having a serious discussion with somebody else. Not that it mattered because the girls came down after a few minutes anyway. I heard some noise coming down the stairwell.
"Maybe it's the streakers." I said.
Half-Pint looked tilted her head and squinted inquisitively. Instead of me telling her what happened, she was instead answered by the girls walking into the lobby with guilty/awkward looks on their faces. This time they were both wearing heavy blue jackets, but it was still obvious that they were still wearing nothing but panties under them.
I looked over at them.
"What's up?" I said trying hard not to be awkward.
"Nothing much." one of them said.
This is turning into a really long post.
So let's see...other stuff that's going on........
.......
.......
oh yeah! The Mastermind has been off-put about his roommate situation lately because his roommate from last year (who will go by Dances With Wolves) is currently in South Dakota working in the Lakota Indian territory, and has decided on a whim that instead of coming back here next semester, he was going to stay there instead. I was disappointed since Dances With Wolves is a pretty cool guy, but The Mastermind got pissed. I forget how he expressed his displeasure to Dances With Wolves in particular, but he expressed it to others by explicitly ranting about it. He also created a facebook group talking about how Dances With Wolves was a huge asshole. I joined it just for fun. I don't really think that Dances With Wolves is an asshole.
I hate research papers. They suck. All of them.
And no I'm not on anything. I just happen to currently be hyper.
I can't think of anything else that's going on, so I'll just leave it at that.

I'm back
Hello. I'm back from a long absence.
I'm sure many of you have heard by now about the court case about whether or not a prostitute, who was forced at gunpoint to have sex with a man and 4 of his friends, was actually raped. The judge presiding over the case, whose name I can't really remember very well (Theresa Carr Deni?), said it wasn't. Instead, she said that it was "theft of services" and that cases like this should be thrown out because they demean women who have actually been raped.
What the crap? How can she be serious? If you're made to have sex with somebody at gunpoint, then prostitute or not, you've been raped. Rape is rape! It can't be changed into "theft of services" just because the victim happens to be somebody who takes money for sex. When a prostitute is paid money to have sex, then its voluntary. Anything other than that or romantic experiences is classified as rape!
I was glad to hear that the Philadelphia BAR Association is going to try and kick Judge Deni out, but her decisions still annoy me to no end.

Pitch Dark and the Condom Bandit
I'm gonna tell a random story.
So Saturday night (or really early Sunday morning) the power went out. I was dropping Seraph off at her room when all of a sudden the lights throughout the whole building went off. It was completely pitch dark for a few seconds before the emergency power kicked in, leaving me and Seraph standing there in confusion. We decided to sit around for a little bit and just talk, when one of our friends, who I'll call Dixie, came out and joined us and eventually she convinced us to come outside with her to look at the stars. They were really cool by the way. It kinda made me wish that there were more power outages. After that I dropped Seraph back off at her room and went back to my room, after which I was given a rude awakening by the sudden wave of light caused by the power coming back. Stupid electricity.
The next evening Seraph and I were hanging out with Muffing and The Mastermind and were about to bid them goodnight. Seraph leaned over to give Muffin a hug after which she was then faced by The Mastermind holding a condom out to her. Evidently it had fallen out of Seraph's purse when she went to hug Muffin, and nobody in the room had put it there. So we went around and asked everybody else in the suite but none of them put it there either. No one else we've talked to is responsible, so now the origin of this condom remains a mystery. Wtf. Personally, I find it a little bit funny, creepy and wierd as it may be. However, it's freaking Seraph out a little bit; feeling creeped out and threatened by the thought of a possible stalker strange person with a freaky sense of humor. So yeah, I kinda want to know who condom bandit is (though technically this person's not a bandit since he/she didn't steal the condom, so I guess he/she would be more of a distributor or whatever you want to call it), and I'm getting more and more confused since nobody we've seen recently seems to have done it. Ah well. I guess we'll eventually figure it out or it'll just blow over.
Wtf. I am an asshole
I am a big asshole. If you have read Seraph's blog, then you might know about my Social Anxiety Disorder and my ever present paranoia. It has been the bane of both of our existences for some time, and every now and then I'll freak out about something stupid. Most recently, I freaked out today about something written on Seraph's blog that I didn't understand (what's worse is that the entry was written a long time ago and the issue has long since past). I feel horrible because, one: I let my paranoia get a hold of me again, and two: Seraph has just now let me read her blog and right afterwards I freaked out about something on there and thus betrayed her trust. She has since forgiven me, but I still feel like an asshole about it. It seems like no matter how hard I try not to hurt her and to do the right thing I always fuck up, which is really frustrating and makes me not very fond of myself. I know that everything's gonna be fine, but I still feel like I need to do something to make it up to her.

Noob
Hello.
I am a noob. I swore to myself that I would never ever make a blog, and here I am, making a blog. This seems very strange and unnatural to me, but given that I've taken a recent interest in writing this will hopefully be good practice, but it'll also give me an opportunity to talk about things. So, let me introduce myself. You may have read my girlfriend's (who goes by Seraph) blog. You probably haven't read my girlfriend's blog, but you should. It is awesome.
Anyway, I am her boyfriend and I shall go by the name she calls me, which is Beowulf. As you can tell by the title of my blog, I am a preacher's son. I was born and raised Baptist, and before you scream in horror and go "Oh my God he's a dirty fire-breathing conservative!" the answer to that statement would be "No. I am not." I consider myself reasonably moderate but I'm going to give you all fair warning that there will be some things I'll be more conservative than liberal about. As for what I'll be writing about, I'm gonna write about...whatever I feel like talking about I guess. Current issues, personal events, etc. I hope you all enjoy my blog.
